The fact that you do that reminds me of a passage in a Sherlock Holmes novel where Sherlock opines that there must be a benevolent being out there because of the very presence of beautiful things like roses... things that are just "extras" for us but that are there nonetheless!
I always look forward to seeing and saving the slide of the day... which leads me to my question: How big is the team that does these? How do they decide which verses get done? Is it simply a free-for-all? Or is there a Method to your Slide Madness? I'm just curious about these terrific "extras"!
My one suggestion would be to focus on certain verses at certain liturgical times of the year, or before them rather, so that when Advent comes around, for instance, I know I'm going to be seeing a bunch of related slides that we can use at church as well during those times. I've seen a few in the past, but they seem to me to have been more coincidence than planned.
Or maybe include some sort of tagging system so that we can search through slides for "advent" related ones... I have no idea how that would work... I guess we'd need to find a way to be able to catalogue them in Logos or something...
Anywho, that's just my $.01. No matter what you do, I LOVE those daily slides (and so does my colleague as well!) so THANKS!
