This is purely anecdotal so take it for what it is worth.
I feel very frustrated and disappointed with Logos at the moment. I love Logos. I have invested mucho dinero in the product and will continue. I am currently investing time to learn all the ins and outs of the searching abilities (which is no small task), and I will continue to do so. But, darn it, if Logos does not get in the way as much as it helps, sometimes.
I attempted to use some visual filters this past week and that was the most frustratingly slow thing. I got a spinning beach ball at the typing of nearly every letter in the VF boxes. Slooooooow.
Additionally, I actually began to change my work flow to avoid having to right click because of the unresponsive sloooooowness. It was all very painful.
I tried turning off highlighting, etc., re-booting, etc. To no avail.
So, I booted up my Parallels to try it on Windows. Much better.
Sometimes Logos makes me feel like a neglected step-child (no offense to step-children).
