Search from home page

I just did a search from the home page. I typed in Genesis 6 and a drop down of choices came down and I chose "search entire library. I have scholars library, plus Essentials Library 3.0, plus a couple of other single books. I got a list of all the search hits. I clicked on one of the hit links and nothing happened. I opened the resource through the library and read the article. Then I went back and clicked on a different search hit and still nothing happened. Does this type of search still not work in the alpha?

I can open links on hit results so I can't confirm your specific experience. Maybe you can give some more details on which specific links you are clicking on and what word in the hit result you are clicking on? A screen shot of what you are seeing and doing would help too :-)

At the bottom of this screen shot you see "A. The Wicked Community". These words are printed in blue. When my pointer passes over these words my pointer turns into a hand pointer. I would assume that these words would be a hyperlink because they are blue and how the mouse pointer changes. I did figure out where I needed to click to get the page, but I never would have guessed that I should click there to go to the article. Below these words is "The Wicked Community" printed in black. Next to that is "(Gen 6:1-7)". This biblical reference is the link that takes me to the article in "Old Testament Survey Series". It is not easy to understand. I would assume that if I click on the biblical reference that it would take me to the biblical passage not the commentary article. I think they need to work on the links to make them more obvious.

Aaron,
The article locations in blue (e.g. "A. The Wicked Community (6:1-7)") will be clickable in a future alpha. They work the way you describe in the Windows product currently. Any highlighted links (in light blue) in the search result preview will take you to that search hit in the resource where the hit was found. I think part of the confusion is that you happened to search on a bible chapter. In that case, the search results show you where "Genesis 6" occurs in all your resources. When you open the resource, the reference to Gen 6 is linked to your preferred Bible.
Hope this helps,
