The library display is still quirky ... the short lines show the correct longer title on mouse over. In addition, I am unable to enter a rating when I've added it to the display.

I saw something similar - in my case some titles just showed the first letter followed by some dots.
I've created a case for this issue.
I am unable to enter a rating when I've added it to the display.
I can reproduce this on Windows only and will create a case for Development to fix it.
I checked and it's also a bug in 6.0a. [:(]

The rating bug has been fixed in 6.1 Beta 1.
