Thats about it really! Been using P5 and find bootcamp is much better.

Would expect bootcamp Windows to be faster - does not have virtualization overhead and Mac OS X running.

Performance has many variables - Wikipedia article compares VMWare Fusion and Parallels Desktop with links to several comparison articles:

Personally use WIndows XP for virtual machines for Logos 3 and 4.

By the way, upgrading Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard to Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard improved responsiveness in Mac OS X and VMWare Fusion

Well, I should rephrase that last one...the boot time difference didn't really surprise me
