6.0b RC1 CRASH Out of memory watching a 6 min NT221 video

I was running 6.0b RC 1 on my external 24'' monitor, highlighting some stuff in the NT221 course transcript about here and watching BW3 talking about John the Baptizer - video loading & stutteringly playing in a floating window on the Acer's 15.4'' screen with only some inactive Chrome tabs in the background - when the application crashed with an Out-Of-Memory error, which - unusual for Logos crashes - was displayed by the OS in a system box.

Logs attached, including above screenshot of error and list of processes from taskmanager (started after the crash, thus doesn't show Logos).

8863.6.0b rc1 sys out of memory.zip

Note that having restarted Logos after capturing those logs to get the links, so the NT221 video resource is open in a tab (not playing nor loading) and Logos is eating near 680MB RAM

and taxing the processor (CPU%) with something escalating between 40% and 100% - this looks scary:

playing the video pushes the RAM used higher than 800MB and eats free memory to zero (not resulting in a crash now, but in the "stuttering", to free memory I closed Jing after the following screenshot).

I don't recall an out of memory error ever under 5.3beta / 6.0 - must I get used to the fact that Logos 6 from 6.0b on only works on 64bit machines or is there a bug somewhere that you can resolve?

EDIT: just a quick update: reading Logos forum while L6 sat idle with the floating video window open (after playing). Checked RAM usage: ca. 850 MB, CPU fluctuating near 100%. I closed the idle video window and it gave back about 200MB, CPU usage dropped like a stone (somehow can't inser the taskmanager screenshot, but now it fluctuates between 0-30% unless I start an application or so). Seems there is some room for improvement in the video display tab/window.
