Buying resources for a group

I know the copyright issues would be a mess, but is it possible to create a group and then buy resources that the group can access?  My church would love that- we use the NRSV and if we had, say, five licenses for it then any five people at a time could using the Faithlife app to read the NRSV.  And we could fundraise and add, say, NT Wright's ___ for Everyone guides, and so forth.

I don't think so and I think you accurately state why.

Goodness, that'd sure be a monster market (speaking from a retail point of view).  The single owner concept doesn't reap bucks from multiple platforms outside marketing, and then suffers from a narrow marketing band (those willing to throw large amounts of money to benefit a single user).

Not criticizing Logos; not sure about the publishers.  But I'd suspect a subscription model (in addition to owned-single-user) would solve much of the problem, and open up a much larger market.

In addition to the spiritual value, of course.  Actually, from the latter point of view, it'd keep the sheep in the right fold.

No ... but you may be able to get a customized package at a very good price for your members. Contact Logos.

I know that Faithlife has put together special packages for some schools, such as DTS. I'm sure that they can put just about any package together. The cost is the question.
