I have been having issues with L6 and processor usage. Until now I had assumed that the problem was with L6 in general. If I open L6 my processor use would spike to 200% and then after 10 seconds or so drop down to a 68%-80% fluctuating. Previously with L5 It usually hovered around 20%-30%. I decided to rebuild my layout in case the problem was a corrupt layout. While doing this I discovered that opening a note file takes L6 from a resting state of 0%-3% up to 70%. This is the same whether opening a very large note file (several hundred sub-notes) or simply opening a brand new unnamed note file with no data whatsoever. As soon as I close the note file, the processor drops back down to a much more normal rate.
Can anybody else verify this?
