SUGGESTION: Make it possible to place Pre-pubs on a wish-list

I often see books that are in pre-pub and that I cannot afford to purchase (or don't know that I'll be able to afford when they come out), but that I'd be interested in putting on a wish-list in case they do. Is there any way to make it possible to add pre-publication books to wish lists?

I agree with you and would like to see this feature too. Right now I send those to an Amazon wish list.

Thank you for suggesting this, Rayner. Good idea.

Agreed - I would very much like this feature - I often forget to add it to wish list after it is released...

Indeed, I didn't even know you couldn't do this until yesterday when I tried it! It would be nice.

My solution to this problem which is less than ideal is to cancel a prep before it ships if i cannot afford it leave the email in my box and after the release at it to my wish list. This is far less than ideal but is the solution i have worked out for items I cannot afford. This is a major downside for Faithlife if many people started doing this their beloved pre pub system would be totally useless. Other than to gauge a desire for the book and not a firm commitment to getting it. I honestly intend to get everybook I place a pre pub order for but unfortunately financing is not allowing me to get all of them when released.

The main problem with this would be that I'd be highly unlikely to remember to cancel whatever I'd ordered. So there'd be $600 spent every time I'd added a "nice to have" commentary series!! :-) But, yes, as you say, if everybody copied you suggestion, you would indeed leave Faithlife having published resources that would take much longer to fund than they'd anticipated!!

That would not work for me because I get too many emails from Logos/Verbum/Faithlife.

Although I knew this had been mentioned before, I was going to put in my two cents about why it would be good to have. It turns out, Rayner's reason given in his original post is exactly what I was thinking. So, Bump!

There have been many times I wish I could put prepubs on my wishlist. I know that the price will change when it moves into production, but the wishlist is a reminder of what resources I am interested in. When I cancel a prepub I am interested in because I cannot afford it at the time I end up forgetting about it and Logos loses a future sale.
