Searching and sorting custom Highlights

I am not sure if I am not doing it correctly, don't know how to do it, or if it's not an option but here is what I want to do.

I want to search a single resource (not a notes document where all the highlights are stored) for a specific highlight.  For example, I want to search "Christian Theology, 3rd ed." for only text that is highlighted as a main point (a custom highlighter I created). 

My problem is that when I search for this highlighter it shows me everything highlighted with it in all the resources I have highlighted.  Some of those resources were for classes I have previously taken and completed.  I have one note for my seminary and don't want create a new note for every course and copy highlighter styles. 

Anyone have any words of wisdom or a solution to my conundrum?

Basic Search has option to specify highlighter and resources.  One idea is open resource with highlighting, then search for common words that are highlighted in All Open Resources:

When search is open, can choose "Search Result" in resource so can click arrow for next or previous search result.

Another idea is open resource, followed by using Annotation to navigate by clicking arrow:
