What is the best way to create a Bible in Personal Books?

I am attempting to create a Personal Book of the Japanese Bible. Although I have complied a lot of PBs I have not ever formatted a Bible in .docx. I found a neat video on Youtube here that taught me how to create a table of contents using Word's headings tool. My questions are:

Do I use the headings tool in Word to create Book, Chapter, and Verse milestones?
How do I create Article milestones?
Is there a Bible template I should be using?
Are there any other tutorials I can study?

I appreciate any help I can get. The project looks monumental to this first-tier.

The crucial things with Bibles are:

Milestones at every verse.
Bible text field on and off at every verse.

Everything else is optional. Personally I also like:

Headings at chapter divisions (for the TOC)
Datatype links around verse numbers (so you can hover over the verse number and get the verse in your preferred translation).

This looks very helpful ST, could you or someone post a few pages of a example file. I have been thinking of working on a Kyrgyz Bible..

But this sounds like a lot of work, I would really like to understand the format in making these kind of PB.

[Y] For non-English Bibles you can use the Logos Bible Book Names in the excel file.

P.S. For public domain Bibles you could try to use the shortcut method Thomas Ehlert suggested in the German subforum. Here is the result I got:

I am brand new at this and still learning. The other respondents in this tread are light years ahead of me.

One thing that helped me understand some of the formatting was to open a PB .docx file and look at the patterns.
