Logos 4

I have the latest download of Logos 4 I think it is version 3. When I double click on the icon for it to load. It wont load and the icon  just drops to the bar at the bottom of the screen. It wont load at all, I have a new Laptop running windows 7. Can anybody help please.

Try holding down crtl when you try to start Logos. Keep holding it, select load blank layout when the logon screen appears.

Go ahead and try what Kevin suggested. A few questions, though.

Is this the first time you have loaded Logos 4 on your computer or did you just update an older version to the new one?

Do you get a 'Preparing Library' notification when Logos 4 opens?

Do you have a Logos icon in the lower right hand portion of your Windows layout after you open Logos 4?

Please note that Logos 4 sometimes will seem to open and then will minimize itself right away as it is doing some internal preparation. After awhile the screen usually pops up again. So if you haven't been doing so, give Logos a little time to open and load everything before closing it or trying again.

Thanks Mark for your email. Logos 4 was running well. Then when I came to use it again when I double clikked on the icon to use it. The icon minimised itself and Logos 4 would not work. I tried to uninstall without losing the indexing I had an emaill explaining that. That did not work so I fully uninstalled the progam. Loaded it by  using http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe to no avail as I double clikked on the icon to use the program it minimised itself I have left it for half an hour I started the task manager to see what it was doing. It says it is running, My hard drive light keeps flashing but nothing else happens. Can it run and not do anything.
