Research help needed

I seem to recall that some guy got the World Record for tiniest writing by writing something like an entire book of the Bible on the back of a postage stamp. I've been trying to find info about this. What book was it (or was it only a portion like the Sermon on the Mount)? It seems that a number of people have been able to write the Lord's Prayer or the Ten Commandments on a postage stamp, so that's probably not World Record worthy.

Anyway, if you have any recollection of this or can find it where I've failed, I'd be much obliged. Doesn't have to be in Logos. Google would be fine too. In fact, I think Google will be a necessity. I only found a few hits for "on a postage stamp" in Logos (none for "on the back of a postage stamp" or "on the back of a stamp"), and none of them had anything to do with tiny writing.

1895 stamp size bible in case with magnifier

Printed in Glascow, Oxford press, King James version. Jewel case, PRISTINE. Magnifyer, Leather bound Roman print,

Those Bibles were for missionaries going into Africa and other countries where preaching Christianity was forbidden. Worn around the neck, it could be hidden.
Most surviving Bibles like this have lost the necklace and case and few are intact. Ripley's Believe or Not had one without the case at their Fisherman's Wharf location a few years back and the University of Stockholm has another, also without the case.
Value has been determined at four to six figures depending upon condition and collector needs.

Hi Rosie, I think that this particular post of yours may be a little old now so my apologies for the tardiness in responding With regards to the Lord's Prayer on a postage stamp, it was commonly done during WW1 by soldiers writing home, they would also write miniature letters home in the same way. As background, I am an artist of sorts, I create works using mostly miniature words and am able to write The Lord's prayer out 4 times on the back of a standard stamp. At the moment I am just completing part of Binyon's 'Ode' on the back of a current Australian Stamp commemorating the Armistice.

The miniature books that were printed in 1895 used a then-new technique known as 'photo-zinco' which reduced the size of normal print quite dramatically. I have a few copies of Miniature newspapers printed in the late 19th Century.

Other examples of miniature writing can be found amongst the works of the Bronte sisters, they used to write their original manuscripts in miniature. Nelson Mandella's book, Long Road to Freedom was also written as a manuscript in miniature.
