Delete Personal Books Fix?

Did the issue of deleting personal books through a 5 step process...(delete, hide, restart, unhide, restart) get resolved? I accidentally recreated a book that I'd already done months ago and then realized it and deleted it and to my surprise, it also vanished from the library instantly. I'm hoping it wasn't a fluke because the 5 step above is quite cumbersome.

yes theoretically you should be able to delete them that way however for many users it was still leaving the books in the library though they were deleted from the personal book builder.

I am on my phone and not computer so I cannot easily link you to the thread where this bug was discussed

Since Logos doesn't communicate much, best I can determine they might have fixed it. I just deleted a PB from the tool and it flagged the library to update (with the PB disappearing without a restart, hiding, etc).

I suspect the proof of the pudding is hiding the PB (which I've done along with other resources at the same time), and then deleting the PB in the tool. From the old Logos4 days, that spelled disaster.

i have read several suggesting that fix, but I don't think so. The personal book builder tool is for creating personal books, not managing ones library. Not only do I not think that is how it does work, I don't think it is how it should work. The larger the list becomes in the PBB tool, the more difficult it becomes to navigate. A user should be able to delete the PBB creation project without fear of deleting the book! The "right" answer for deleting a personal book should be the same method to delete other books. In logos, that is called "hiding," (but should be called "archiving"). FWIW - most of us think an improvement in this area is needed.
