Saving Workspace

How do I save my work space?  I would like to save it to reopen it at a later date.  I know that I can use history, but is there a feature where I can name and save a particular work space.  For instance if I am reading through the book of Isaiah, I would like to be able to close it out and reopen the windows at a later time.  I would like to name it so I can simply type that name in somewhere and the windows would all reopen how I left it.  Is this possible?

    Welcome Quincy

    Here you go...

You can now drag 'Quincy's Stuff' to the tool bar and create a shortcut if you wish.

Don't forget to 'Update Active Layout' if you want a change to become permanent.

You are going to love the Layouts feature. I created one for each book of the Bible, so that all notes, dictionaries, and commentaries are all set up the next time I need to work there.

The Layout is automatically Saved when you exit Logos. What happens thereafter is determined by your "At Startup" option in Program Settings:-

    • Most recent layout - local will allow you to resume where you left off in the same installation e.g. laptop
    • Most recent layout - any will allow you to resume where you left off in the same (e.g. laptop) or another installation e.g. desktop
    • Layout name (from list) will load the the most recent version that you saved.
