I thought he was headed for a pastor doing a sermon, wearing it, with commentaries pasted all over the sanctuary walls. Or a sanctuary full of hologram-wearing members.

The only thing I wouldn't care for is having to wear the goggles for the duration of my study.
Also, this shouldn't be something Logos would have to incorporate, right? It's a Microsoft Product that seems to let you project anything on your computer or elsewhere?

It all comes down to profitability.If there are enough Logos users who would buy a Holo interface from Faithlife,they could employ the programmers necessary to make it happen,but if it's only a few geeks that like it. It's never going to happen.
This article is everything I was thinking about when they announced the hololens. For quite a while I've wanted to walk into a room with my passage in the GNT hovering in mid air so I can draw connections, append notes, and do discourse analysis all in 3D space.
Until now I've been thinking about the Oculus Rift and water vapor holograms but this is way better.
This seems to be unrealistic to me. Not the technology, but the use case. I can't see a person who is so attached to paper books wanting to put a holographic visor on their head. A large multimedia tabletop seems much more practical. The bookcase example seems cool, but won't technologically adept users be getting rid of bookcases by the time this technology could be perfected?
