Dear Staff,
Is it possible to have interlinear info for any bible version resource, or do I just have to open an interlinear in a separate window?
Thanks,
Mike
Hi, I am not staff, but I think I can still answer your question. What interlinears you have depend on the resources and base package you own. You can access interlinears inline using the button highlighted in yellow in the Bible window (right in the picture below). Some interlinears exist as independent resources and you can find those in your library (left in the picture). Note the interlinear explorer which is available with some base packages.
I noticed my AV does not have the inline interlinear button, but my NLT does. Guess it depends on the specific Bible resource you have.
The 1873 (Cambridge) and 1900 AVs both have interlinears (presuming you bought them).
You are actually looking at reverse interlinears where the words appear in English order not Greek order. As different translations use different Greek texts = some varying by very little sometimes by a more significant amount - a reverse interlinear has to be built individually for each translation. There are approximately a dozen translations that will show n interlinear.
