I've two questions. Type in "widow" in the Search under Basic. Every place widow is mentioned, it is highlighted in yellow. Let's say I click on B5 Not Helping Widows ... the extra window opens of course, with "widow" highlighted again in yellow.

1) Can the word "widow" be highlighted in an different colour and if yes, how?

2) Can one have it so that the word "widow" is not highlighted at all and if yes, how?

    No.

The only way is to close the Search tab, but if you're not done with checking out all the search hits this isn't what you'll want to do.

Faithlife should create the ability to turn off search hit highlighting in Logos via a checkbox on the Visual Filters menu. It has been requested before. I don't know why they haven't done it yet. Customizing the color of search hit highlighting would also be nice (that would go in Program Settings), but I think they are reluctant to let the number of user-settable options in the program proliferate too much.

Thank you for that Rosie. I couldn't find anything to change colours but being a man, I thought an option might be right there in front of me and I still couldn't see it. Thus the question. Appreciate your feedback!
