Is there a way to copy and paste from a source on the web into a clipping or a note I have created? Example info from the Wikipedia that I would like to attatch to a clipping file. Or to scan a page out of a book and copy then paste into a clipping?
I use copy and paste with notes all the time. I've not tried putting them in the base text of a clipping. What difficulty are you running into?
you wont be able to insert a picture directly, but you can hyperlink to it
And... from what I can gather, you can not independently just "add new clipping" (like notes; "add new note")... You have to first select text out of a resource in L4 then add to clippings, but then you can rename it and erase the info and go from there.
-Note: I'd like to be able to "add new clipping" (blank) like we can with notes.....
I am able within L4 to paste, my issue is I would like to copy a paragraph outside of L4. Say on a web site etc, then open L4 go to my notes on that subject and paste. Any ideas?

That's what I do all the time - I've had problems with paragraphs that end in a URL but I believe that has been fixed. Are you using the mouse or the keyboard for copy & pasting? I haven't tried on beta 12 but I was doing it on L4.0 and l4.0a.
Thank you for your help. I got it, I was opening notes up but not clicking add new note... and pasting. Works great.
