BUG: " & ' turn off Bold/Italics

When typing in notes with either bold, italics or both turned on, as soon as the ' or " is used it turns off the bold/italics and the immediately next text is normal. Here are some examples: David's ; David's ; David's

This is consistent but the behavior does not seem to happen with any other keys that I have tried out, only that one key.
