Wesleyan-Arminian collection
Can anyone tell me how to add several authors to a collection using rules. I recently purchased the Wesleyan-Arminian collection and have no problem getting John Wesley into the collection using the rule author: "Wesley,John". However, I'm not have much luck getting Fletcher, Arminius, and Beets in using rules. I could just drag them in, there is just a few works for those 3 authors, but it would be nice to know how to use rules to add more than one author to a collection.
Thanks,
Greg

Discovered this by trial and error a while back:
author:"John Wesley",Arminius,Miley
By the way, have you seen Pope's Compendium of Christian Theology in the Community Pricing list of resources.

This is one of the best Wesleyan theology texts available (IMHO, others agree).

Try this rule:
author:("Wesley, John",Fletcher,Arminius,Beets)
You need the parentheses or else the subsequent names won't be confined to the author field. (It'll look for them in any field)

Are you sure about this? I used an example similar to mine above, but did not pick up any spurious books:

Yep. Notice the difference:
No parentheses:
With parentheses:

I think you just got lucky.

Did some more testing - you are of course correct. Sorry for questioning.

Don't be. It probably made the point more clear to everyone. [Y] I'm sorry if I made you feel an apology was necessary. I sometimes give briefer answers than I should.

Actually, my original intention was to delete my message; but, apparently, LOGOS has their forum set up so that you cannot delete posts that have children (in spite of the note saying otherwise when you delete posts without children). I can still edit my post, but the option to delete is no longer there.
Not being able to delete, I wanted to make sure that there was no confusion as to the right way to get the required information - as you indicated. I learned something.

You may be correct, but I also think that the time for deletion is much shorter than the time for editing.

Thanks Floyd (and everyone who responded to my post). No I had not seen Pope's Compendium. It looks fascinating, so I put in a bid. When I look around Logos, I feel like a kid in a candy store who wants to by 50 cents worth of candy with 5 cents in my pocket.
Shalom,
Greg

Thanks - though it is moving slowly, I do hope that it goes into production sooner rather than later.
