Did the Faithlife site get hacked? There are foreign drug ads showing up there, and as a result, they're showing up on my home page in Logos. Has the site been compromised?
Thanks for the report. We're investigating.

I'll leave this at this: You need to get the customization of the Home Page controls back in place SOONER rather than LATER. [:@]
I've locked the account that was compromised and deleted all the spam posts. We'll continue to monitor the site (and others) for malicious activity.
In this case, it looks like someone successfully guessed a password for one of the user accounts. I did a forced logout for the account, reset the password to something far more secure, and revoked the account privileges.

It shipped in beta 2 or beta 3. It'll ship to stable with 8.1.

Easy buddy! You could at least show some class and say please and delete the red angry face.

Nope. I didn't spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade to get spammed with ads in my work software. FL made a conscious decision to seize control of the page; they can take a little heat for the fallout of that decision, and if they don't ever want to see the red smilie, they can remove it from the BBS. Go wag your finger somewhere else.
Phil,
Thanks for getting this corrected so quickly, even on a Sunday! :-)

The conscious decision that FL made was to rebuild the Homepage from scratch. An unintended consequence was that customizability wasn't able to be added prior to the ship date which had likely been set before L8 development was ever started.
