- Open the Library.
- Click on the panel menu icon (⋮) in the top right.
- Click on "Prioritize Resources."
- Drag your favorite Bible(s) to the top of the list.
- We're considering making a command to "Set preferred Bible to____" in the Go Box, which you could then save as a shortcut. That way, you could set up several shortcuts to change your preferred Bible with just a click. Do you think that would meet your needs?
How do I choose my deferred Bible in Logos 8. It seems it's not possible on the home page as instructed in some of the materials I've read. I would like my preferred Bible to show up automatically when I go to a Bible study work flow.

You can set your preferred resources, including Bibles, in the Library.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

For clarification was the material you were reading for versions pre Logos 8? If so, that is correct because it was different before L8. If it is somewhere in L8 documentation we need to know that too so FL can correct this.

Would a command "Set Preferred Bible to ..." be helpful for your work flow ?
(command can become a shortcut so one click to set your preferred Bible followed by opening Bible Study work flow)

In terms of providing a quick way for users to change their preferred Bible from the Homepage, I'd love your feedback on a solution we're kicking the tires on.
An alternative is using Advanced Prioritization to specify Bible (or Bible Commentary) for verse lookup using Bible Type, or specified resource (Bible or Commentary or Notes ...).
Screen shot shows 1917:Tanakh text for verse pop-up in a commentary. Advanced Prioritization matched before highest Preferred Bible.

There is also the wiki. I fixed a couple of pages that weren't current.
