You just have to go to the web page and order it - https://www.logos.com/product/156257/logos-7-fundamentals
Then paste the code in at checkout.

That didn't work for me. I had to go to https://www.logos.com/redeem
and then paste the code.

Visit the redemption page and enter the code there.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

The email asked to go through Redeem, and FL built the codes as unique IDs like they put on the Libronix CDs in former times.
Coupon codes in the store either work for anybody who uses them or are tied to accounts that FL knows beforehand, so I assume this assures the proper process (after all, they know only to whom they sent the code, not to whom it may be given, or even shared publicly)
