The Home Page on Logos 7 allowed me to see what version of Logos is currently loaded and what Resources were loaded in the last update.
Charles, there has been a TON of feedback and questions about this. Its been tossed around that these might return at some point in the future. I personally would like to see them as optional dashboard cards.
FL is heads above the rest about listening to their customers. Lets hope they've seen all the posts asking about these two issues and that they return soon. I sure hope so. I miss these simple yet important features.

About Logos shows current version.
Logos 8 allows opening more than one Library Tab with different filtering in each tab: e.g. Added in last 30 days
Screen shot shows two Library Tabs: one has Last Added filter (can be used for tagging recent purchases since Last Added has maximum of 30 days).
