the new Logos 8 Notes Tool - loss of Logos 7 Note file functionality

just a quick note to say I'm new to the forums but a longstanding Logos user, and took the warnings about switching back to the Logos 7 notes seriously. If rather than that "not-so-subtle" warning LOGOS 8 NOTES WEB PAGE, there had been communication as thorough as your email now I'd have just swtiched back straight away and I would not have wasted so much time and work.... I expect I should have trawled through forums or double checked... but ....

I LOVE THE LOGOS 7 NOTES DOCUMENTS- I live with them daily, and have spent weeks and months organising them, they are great workhorses. I do not need my notes found for me in random collections, becuase I've already organised them in ways I remember as I use them,  i like straightforward note files.

I appreciate many other LOGOS USERS are not power users of notes as I am..and it is really great the notes and notes tool is being developed....I'm flexible with change,  BUT PLEASE be sure not to actually take away any of the existing functionality .. (MY functionality!) in the process.... there must be ways.....

The ways of working I've developed to enhance use of NOTES FILES by formatting into several different uses as  documents in their won right,  in combination with the FAVOURITES menu, creating a USER defined Library takes only a little self discipline and is well worth it, surely a very useful addition to the Logos system to raise awareness of,  if no one else has worked it out yet.
