Multiple resource view not working

I have multiple resources selected, but the resources aren't showing in the window. they're listed in the panel title, but not displaying:

Can you provide a screen shot, embed with the paper clip? The two reasons this would happen:

there are no parallels for the location the main resource is at e.g. introduction, preface ...
you've not actually requested the parallel - you're looking at saved values in the parallel resources menu
