This is on Logos 8.4 beta 1 on Windows 10
I was trying to move to page 6 in the NIVAC commentary on 1 Corinthians but Logos interprets this as moving to Psalm 6
Confirmed - also confirmed that the behavior of pg 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 provides inconsistencies.
There is no "Page 6" in this resource (turn on "Show page numbers" visual filter to demonstrate).
However, I can't reproduce the incorrect suggestion when entering "Page 6"; my system just shows no available options in the drop-down list. Do you have this resource in a custom series?
LLS:NIVAC67CO12018-02-23T16:41:47ZNIVAC67CO1.logos4
They are in the series NIV Application Commentary
page 1 shows only psalm
page 2 shows only psalm
page 3 shows only page
page 4 shows page and psalm
page 5 shows page and psalm
page 6 shows only psalm
page 7 shows page and psalm
My results are identical to MJ's apart from page 3
However I think it is related to highest prioritised Bible.
I normally have NIV2011 as my highest prioritised when I get the results above.
If I put ESV as highest prioritised I just get page numbers shown.
I have my usual NRSV (ecumenical edition) prioritized.
As do I ... I don't like thinking that this is the problem ...
And I've just seen related behaviour when trying to navigate in the NIV 2011
Correct; it looks like it's related to pericope-based suggestions added in Logos 7.11 (which use fuzzy matching).
Thanks Bradley
I think I can see how that would affect the NIVAC issue.
Would it explain the NIV navigation issue as well?
Ah, "it's not a bug, its a feature" [:D] That's the best explanation I could have hoped for.
We're planning on looking at this to see if we can make it a little less fuzzy.
Thanks Andrew
