Status of Bookmark Bug Fix

Upon release of an update to a new version of Android back around January??, the Bookmark feature stopped working when the resource was already an open resource. If the resource was closed, the previously saved bookmark feature opened and navigated correctly. If you kept the resource open, the navigation process to the open resource would fail.

I called support to see if there was something needing to be done and they said that they were already aware of the problem. The conclusion I drew from this was that they would be releasing an update to address the issue.

After some months now, I could use some good news on when this might be coming in a future release.

Dear Chris,

Please accept my apologies. I can confirm that further work still needs to be done on this fix.

Here is a workaround that you can use in the meantime. This video shows how to do this.

Open the Resource that contains the Favorite
Tap on the screen to invoke the section controls (the top and bottom panels).
Tap the icon to the left of the reference field.
Tap Favorites, then tap on a Favorite to open it.
