I might have actually taken advantage of that, but for the "now or never" mechanism. At this point, Logos has left many thousands of my money (at least 5-figures worth) on the table because of the "limited time offer" gimmick. I've mentioned this phenomenon before. I rarely have the ability to immediately jump on a high ticket offer. The humorous thing is that I deposited a one-time insurance check today that probably could have paid for that discounted Ultimate package outright. I seriously doubt that money will be available the next time a "now or never" sale comes around. I realize that's "just how its done", but it's not how I do it. This is probably the dozenth time in the last few years that I've missed FL's sale windows on purchases I wanted to take advantage of, but the window ends up shutting days or sometimes even hours before I'm able to act. I thought the old Logos 7 expansions were on sale till the end of last month, but that sale ended in the middle of the month (go figure), and so a ~$400-500 purchase didn't get made. Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to play whack-a-mole, except I'm trying to spend money instead and just don't get the chance. Sorta bizarre. It doesn't help that Logos is beholden to my old, almost never used email account (because it's tied to my Logos forum account) that I rarely check these days. Oh, well...I've learned that money potentially spent on Logos resources spends just as well on other things, too.
