Missing Library Resources

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or could help me. I own a Logos 8 Silver Package which advertises a library containing 735+ digital books. However when I access my library it displays that I have only 696 books; this is including dozens of books plus a library extension collection that I purchased outside of the Silver base package. Why am I missing resources?

I am not sure you are really missing resource. Sometimes, a book is sold in paper as ten volumes, but put into one volume in Logos, because there's no size restriction to binding 10k pages and no weight issue with carrying a tome of that size around. This is especially the case with encyclopedias / lexicons like AYBD, ISBE and BEB which come as 3 Logos resources but would be 15 thick volumes in paper.

It seems the 735+ counts the as-if-paper, whereas the detailed list of resources included in Silver counts Logos resources - see e.g. the Bible Dictionaries Section, which has "only" 9 entries, but contains those 3 I mentioned above.

The 735+ is the web team's accounting, and it bears little resemblance to what is counted in your Library; especially when you already have some of those books (you will get a discount for those you own), and already have many other books (your dozens of books plus a library extension collection). The Logos 8 Silver Package also includes the Logos 8 Full Feature Upgrade, which includes many books that appear in your Library + datasets, media, tools and features which do not appear in your Library, but are counted as "resources" or "digital books".

If you still have concerns, you will have to manually compare your Library titles with the book titles that appear on the web pages. Then there are the tools and features that appear in the Docs, Guides, & Tools menus + resource Visual Filters menus. Your datasets are listed in the Help > About Logos Bible Software window, under the Faithlife heading. And some of your media is stored on Faithlife servers!

I would ignore the claimed numbers, and be assured that you have received what you paid for.
