Using Keynote with Logos

I use keynote for my sermons. Trying to integrate Logos with Keynote is always a pain. The idea of "Visual Copy" is good, but the actual process is too simple to be useful.

Why can't I break verses between slides where I want them?
Why can't it insert editable slides? I may want to bold or underline the text - or even change the formatting. Pictures of slides? This is quite silly. It should create a slide with the selected background with the text formatted as real editable text.

Does anyone have suggestions?

I find "visual copy" only good if I want to create a VERY quick slide for casual social media. If I were in your shoes (preaching regularly and using Keynote), I would prefer to create the slides myself. My 2¢

I have to agree with Alabama--Keynote is the place where you want to create your slides and edit them. That's my opinion and it is what I do.

You can do this by pressing "return" in the "Body Text" box where you want the slides to break. Or am I misunderstanding what you are looking for?

You can do this within the sermon documents. When you click share and select Export to PowerPoint (which can be opened in Keynote) you want to select the "Editible text" option. If you want to break a slide in the middle of a verse you can do this before exporting by hitting enter where you want the break and adding two dashes -- this will create a slide break.

Just an FYI...I know it will cost you $20/month or so, but Proclaim is an excellent tool to use for sermon presentations, and works VERY well with Logos. I love how I can click on any slide or image and it immediately imported into my current presentation. Looks very professional, and is easy to use. Check it out.

Except that the way I use Keynote Proclaim is not a good solution. I teach a Sun PM and Wed PM bible study where I run the presentation. Proclaim's great for Sun AM when we use it for songs, announcements, bible verses and I upload slides for my sermon. But I like to annotate the text with my Apple Pencil and you can't do this in Proclaim like you can with Keynote.

If you're already using Proclaim for worship and also want to use Keynote like I do, you can add the Bible verses to a Proclaim presentation and export them with a right-click on the passage and choose Save as Images.
