Program not responding

Logs may be necessary, but opening to a blank layout may work. From the wiki:

 launch application, then quickly press and hold command key until Sign In appears, release command key.

Thank you for those instructions JT. It worked just as you said. I'm not sure I understand why or what happened, though. There was no blue icon, yesterday when this issue presented itself, but once I logged in, there was an icon and it updated. Blessings.

Sometimes a layout can become corrupted. When that happens, you may have a crash or freeze. Opening to a blank layout bypasses the trouble, allowing you to move on.

In which case there is a preference under settings to allow this automatically.
