COMMONITORY, Chap. 2 is appropriately linked with my priorities it brings up The Fathers of the Church edition

ML 50, 639 has only a bibliographic popup as the Latin Migne is not in Logos

NPNF XI, 132 has only a bibliographic popup despite the reference being present in Logos for nearly a zillion years. Why is this link not made?

NPNF XI, 132 has only a bibliographic popup despite the reference being present in Logos for nearly a zillion years. Why is this link not made?

Because of a decision that we made a long time ago that I really don't like but don't have a work around at the moment (long term I do have two strategies): we created two versions of of NPNF and ANF. There is the protestant version and the Catholic edition which, I believe, is an updated version that includes additional front matter. We can only tag to one and my hunch is that you have the Catholic edition.

I own both editions and can confirm the link to NPNF XI, 132 works and opens the protestant edition to page 132.

My understanding so far was that the editors of those works put some language into their front matter and prefaces which Faithlife decided was offensive to RCC users, so the CE is the same as the protestant edition minus the front matter stuff. I don't think I ever heard there was additional text produced and included into the CE edition.

NB.Mick is correct that the Catholic Edition is lacking original printed content extraneous to the translations themselves because FL was concerned about anti-Catholic editorial content. Nothing was added to the Catholic Edition to replace it (nor would I, as a Catholic, see any reason to add any such now).

A logical assumption but I actually have both. And I am willing in the short term to accept the unusual nature of these resources as the reason the link is missing ... not ideal but it is what it is.
