I would like to create word study lists based on frequency of occurance in a Greek text of my choosi

My apologies if something like this has been asked before.

I would like to have Verbum/Logos generate a particular kind of word list from Greek resources that I have, whose vocabulary I would like to study using the lexicon of my choice. Suppose the resource is the Greek portion of a Patrologia Graeca volume, and I would like first to generate a list of the 200 most common words in that text. Later, I would like to make a list of the next 100 most common words in that resource. To use the lists, I would like to hover over a word or click on it, to see the entry for it in the Brill Greek English Dictionary. Can Verbum/Logos 8 do this? (I took a quick look at Docs-New-Word List, but it seems that it would add lemmas only from a Biblical resource.)

If the above is not possible, what's the closest thing to it that can be done?

The Concordance Tool is worth looking at for this.

This shows the results for one of the PG texts

Then I would set up a link set between the Greek text and a lexicon of your choice. Then clicking on a word in the Concordance tool will position the Greek text to that place. Clicking on the word in the Greek text will move the linked lexicon(s) to the corresponding article (if any)

Thanks very much, Graham. It does help, and that probably is the best that Logos/Verbum can do right now, until they fix up the Word List tool to make it work for non-Biblical resources, or at least fix up the "combine all word forms" in the concordance. What strange limitations. The "Combine all word forms" seems to be broken or half done in the Concordance tool, since it doesn't combine the forms of words, only alternate accent additions, accents that wouldn't have been in the original text anyway. The screenshot you gave illustrates the problem well: about half the entries were the same word - the article. I'm finding the same pattern on my end - the genitive singular of a word is listed as a different word than the same in the nominative singular, the genitive plural (etc.). I think I should make a separate post along the lines of "Faithlife, please fix this?!" I'll wait to see if anyone else contributes more first.
