Canvas - Move Bible text above existing text

In the Canvas, is there a way to move part of the Bible text above an earlier part of the passage. The following diagram shows what I want to do. In this example, I need to move "was compelled to be circumcised" above "who was with me."

The only way I could figure out how to do it was to duplicate "was compelled to be circumcised" and move it above "who was with me," then delete the original text.

Also, this raises the question of the easiest way to select a phrase. I could not figure out how to do it apart from select each word with the Ctrl key held down. Is there a way to select a whole phrase. You can click and drag to select text, since dragging moves the selection

Thanks. That is helpful, though not obvious.

However, I still cannot see how to select an arbitrary selection of text. That does not neatly fall on a line. For example, in the example below, suppose I want to select "according to the elementary principles of the world". I cannot do this with the click and drag technique, because it will either select part or all of 2 lines or only a portion of a line.

I can select this portion of the text by click on each word individually while holding down the Ctrl key, but that is tedious.

How did you move "was compelled to be circumcised" to the same line as "But not even Titus"? I tried selecting "was compelled to be circumcised" in Canvas and then Cut from the Context menu; then I clicked above the text and selected Paste Here from the Context menu. When I moved "was compelled to be circumcised" down to line it up with "But not even Titus, it jumped back down below "though he was a Greek."

Prevent Snap Back

2 ways:

Press Alt when you drop it into place or
Group it with Ctrl+G key before you try to move and drop it into place

Selection

Hold down Shit Key
Click outside text on the right and drag to select the first part
Release mouse
Click outside the text on the left and drag to select the second part
Release mouse
Release Shit Key

How to move all text after a Selected Word

If you select a word and drag it, all text following it will move along with it

Other ways to move text out of order

Insert the Passage again
select everything except the phrase you need
format the text color to white
Send to the back

use Ctrl+Shift+B or
use Right Click Context menu option "To Back"

Move the complete text box to get your phrase into position

Where are all of the Canvas commands documented? I don't find them in the Help file.

I still find Canvas pretty finicky. I takes several tries to select what I want.

How can I drag and drop just the selected words and not all of the word that follow? The only way I could find was to cut and paste the selected words.

Also, is there a way to align the moved text so it is on the same line as an exiting line. In the example I gave, I would want "was compelled to be circumcised" to be on the same line as "But not even Titus". The movement increments for drag and drop always leave it a little bit off. Is there a snap to line option?
