Bug: 8.9.0 (0051) Poor formatting for Daf Yomi: Cycle 14

I have been reading Daf Yomi on the desktop, but tried to read it on the iPad last night.

The daily reading is displayed in a popup instead of within the reading cycle resource:

Line returns and indentation are lost.
We shouldn't have to read in a narrow-width popup on an iPad.
The Jump to resource link is inaccessable.

Trying to do the daily reading within the Talmud itself means you have to continue to be mindful of where the Daf ends for the day.

Including the full-width formatted reading within the Daf Yomi itself, as the desktop does, would be a big improvement.

Yikes, I just noticed that the popup only contains a small portion of the Daf! It's truncated. [:O]

Fix needed, please, to make it possible to read a Daf on iOS.

I accidently read two pages because the day's reading isn't provided in the Mobile edition of the Daf Yomi.

Thanks for the report. I believe what you are experiencing is common across lectionaries ... tapping on the reading opens that reading in a popup. My suggestion was going to be to long-press the link, which will allow opening the link (alternatively in a new split section, etc). Unfortunately there is an issue opening the links from this resource it seems. I've opened a case and we'll look into resolving that issue.

Also, if you download the Babylonian Talmud resource to your device, I think the resource popup text will be formatted correctly.

New lines are now handled properly, but indentation still seems to be lacking. See Saturday April 25, 2020 (Shabbos 50), as an example.

Formatting aside, seeing only a snippet of the reading in the popup suggests that the popup approach has limitations.

I have no experience with lectionaries, but I hope FL can reconsider how convenient and useful it is to see an entire daily reading within the Daf Yomi, without having to switch to the full resource and having to track where to stop reading. (It's disruptive when you can't solely focus on the reading.)
