Wuest in Text Comparison not working correctly

I have previously pointed out that Wuest in Text Comparison is not working correctly. I get missing gaps.

Is this being studied or addressed? It does group the verses, and would complicate the displaying.

It does, however almost work. Please fix this.

Please also note that since it works some of the time, a quick look may suggest it is working.

Wuest is an excellent resource, and Text Comparison is an excellent tool. Having them work together is very important.

Can you provide an example of a passage that does not work, and a list of the Bibles you are trying to compare it to? That would help me figure out what is happening.

EDIT: Testing Act 2:34 ff. I see that there is some inconsistency in alignment, but I would not expect Logos to invent verse numbers where the text has none so the "gaps" are to be expected. I'm going to play with it a bit more and perhaps generate a bug report on some alignment issues.

You would not expect a translation that groups verses to work with a fully-versified 'normal' translation in TC. However, it has been done for the Message; where individual verse numbers have been assigned to the text in a verse group, and it appears to be fully versified in TC!

A breakdown may not be possible for Wuest; where he routinely groups 8-11 verses. It would also depend on its popularity/importance, say, compared to the Message.

I go to 2 Timothy 2:1 and have open:

    KJV 1900, LEB, NASB95,HCSB,ESV,DARBY, WUEST

I scroll down through the chapter and cannot see verse sections starting with 7-14 then 19-21 are missing. This seems close to working for the most part, but does leave gaps.

I tried to send a video, but the system would not allow. If it does not fail for you I will try to collect and send some images.

    All help is much appreciated.

I am still running into gaps in the Wuest Text Comparison tool. Wuest is an excellent resource, and Text Comparison is an excellent tool. Having them work together is very important.

This seems so close to working most of the time. It might not take much to fix.Of course it might be more of a challenge. I know Faithlife has faces greater.

Please have a look, and let me know if you need more examples.

I posted an update on the other thread that was started about this issue: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/172407/995608.aspx#995608

There's no recent news about this bug.

It has been more than a year and a half. Is this still on anyone's radar?

Whole groups of verses are still missing in a Text Compare.

All help would be much appreciated.
