Howdy y'all from Texas! :-)
Okay, the people at Best Buy installed Windows 10 for me on my main machine, and they kindly did a backup of my data. So I went to the following page to do an easy reinstall of Logos.
https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers
I chose Method 2, and after installing briefly, then copying data folders as instructed, I started Logos.
Obviously, it didn't recognize my library.
So I did as instructed and put in this command in the command box:
scan <C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\rjqpvz1c.fwy\ResourceManager\Resources>
It treated that command as a search request numerous times, as I tried it numerous times.
It is now working in memory, according to Task Manager, and there is no usage of the Internet going on. So I am presuming it is obeying that command, but I have no indication that it is.
The Task Manager in Windows 10 indicates Network usage, and there is 0%. So that tells me the software isn't really "downloading," right? It's saying that it is downloading a book in my library view, but it is really "discovering," is that correct?
I do get a message that says "Updating Library Catalog. List may be incomplete." in the Library pane. It shows 6,993 resources, so I take it this process is going to last a while. But I know that, in previous years, to download the library and index it would take 14 hours.
Did I do anything wrong? Thank you so much for your time.

Status: I went to lie down for about an hour, and when I rose to check, the scanning process was apparently finished, and there was some left to download. That went fine, and so did the indexing.
What was scaring me quite a bit was not knowing how long the scanning process was going to take, and not seeing any progress indicators anywhere. I've been wanting this to be done, and done smoothly, ever since I knew I would have to upgrade the OS. It's so good to have my Logos software "back" and ready for use.
Anything I should look for that works better in Windows 10? Thank y'all so very much for your time.
