Good question - appears to disclose private data: phone numbers, email, birthdate, relationship status, etc.
To be fair, settings default to private, but each user can change their account settings to make specific details public if they wish.
When and how do we exchange this information?

You underestimate me. That's the easy part.[:)]
What the heck is it for and how or where do we use it?
I don’t know. I’m not part of a Faithlife church group, so I have no idea whether the account is meant to share information and posts with other group members or not.
Perhaps someone in a church group could provide more insight?

Is it just me or does it seem like there is some malaise in FL monitoring the forums? Some COVID-19 related disconnect.
Hello everyone. As stated above, you control the information that is shown on your profile and you also choose who can interact with your Faithlife.com account. Ideally the information that you add to your Faithlife.com account would be shared with other people that are in Faithlife groups that you are in. At a large scale this could be author or content groups on Faithlife. At a smaller scale it would be a more localized community like a Bible study, Congregation, or Small group that you attend that uses Faithlife as a way to connect with one another. As Faithlife has moved into the Church Products space as well as remaining steadfast in the Bible Study Tools space, we hope to see more crossover with how people utilize Logos and Faithlife.com together.
Thanks for stepping up David. Welcome to the forums![:)]
