But it has not been released yet. Are there other commentaries from the the 1850's or even earlier in Logos.
I know [or think I know] what the modern commentaries say on the story of Luke 15:11-32 [prodigal son]
I would like to examine how older ones treat the older son. All of the ones I have forget that the father left him in the field all day. And forget that he does not know that his brother has repented. [They also seem to forget that he now owns the farm and is not working for his father but for himself.]
