Is there a way to have the verses show up in English for when using the Septuagint in a Bible Word Study? I get why they are in Greek but would like to see a list of those verses in English.
Well, I'm still on L7, but when doing LXX BWS's, I have 2 sections with the 'circles' ... one called 'Translation' (english; NABRE), and the other Septuagint Translation (greek; Logos LXX). Ergo english verses or greek verses.

I've asked the same question to Logos and they were not very helpful at all. This is very helpful. Thank you. Just a follow up. I can see the English verses in LES. But is it possible to see the verses in, say, ESV?
I don't mind doing it in 2 steps. If Logos can output the verses in such a manner that I can cut-paste into "Copy Bible Verses" tool, then I can get the ESV translation of these verses. Is this possible?

Not from the Translation ring as the ESV doesn't have Greek words in the Old Testament
But if you scroll down to the Textual Searches section and choose the LXX, you can add the ESV as an additional version into the resulting search panel

If I may ask a follow up question. How do I limit the output of the Septuagint to the books of the Old Testament? I looked at the list of Resources to see if I can isolate it, but I couldn't. Thank you in advance if you could offer any pointers.

Do you mean just the books in the Protestant canon?
If so, I can't think of any easy way of doing that. You can't just search in Get-Mal as some of the other books are interspersed among them

You would need to know the divisions that occur within books like Esdras B e.g. Ch 1-10 = Ezra, Ch 11-23 = Neh, Also, variations within Psalms and other 'Protestant' books. However, you can let Logos handle that if you modify the query by adding WITHIN {Milestone <Bible Gen-Mal>} (in a Search of All Passages in a Septuagint resource) e.g. <Lemma = lbs/el/θεός> WITHIN {Milestone <Bible Gen-Mal>}

I hope I have done this cut-paste right this time. As you can see from below, I still see the output from outside the Protestant canon. There were 137 results in 133 verses before I added "WITHIN {Milestone <Bible Gen-Mal>}" The number of results didn't change after I included this extra filter within quotes. So I must be doing something wrong.
When I scrolled through the results, I did notice that some verses didn't have the ESV version (this was even before the filer given in quotes above). Does that mean that these verses don't belong to Gen-Mal?
If so, how do I find the Protestant Canon equivalent version of some of the verses in the Septuagint such as 1 Kgdms, 2 Kgdms etc that also have a ESV version attached to it? Is there a way to map it automatically before outputting the results. Maybe, I am getting ahead of myself here.

The output of the Search uses the 'canon' of the bible searched, and it can't be mapped for Print/Export. Click the highlighted result in the ESV bible to see the mapping.
