My old desktop died.  I am operating Windows 10.

I need to get a new desktop but want one with a graphics card that supports at least 3 mo?nitors.

Can anyone offer some advice? My searches have revealed few that support more than two monitors.

I thought I could buy a graphics card but then the desktops don't have the power supply required 500 watts or better or that is what I am coming up on my research.

Thanks for help!

I have a Dell G3 15 laptop with Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 specs.

I have two separate monitors hooked up giving me a total of three monitors. I run one through an HDMI cable and another using an AmazonBasics USB 3.1 Type-C to HDMI Adapter Cable.

I used a usb monitor adapter on one of my windows machines at one point. The installed graphics card only supported two monitors and I could not get a second card (no slots available). The usb adapter worked well enough for non-graphic intensive apps. (Yes, it did ok with LOGOS).

It would not work well for gaming or watching full screen video. (it will work, just not work well.)

I don't remember what I paid for it but it was around $50 u.s. If you get one you have to install the drivers before it will show any video. You also do not want to use it as a primary display, as you will not have any video until after windows finishes its startup and loads the drivers.

Like Pastor Dan I have a laptop and two external monitors - all Dell: Inspiron 17 (4 years old) and 21 inch monitors. This runs with a Dell docking station. I’ve been very pleased since adding the second monitor and docking station.

I run three monitors off my Apple laptop. I think most desktops should be able to run three monitors without much problem. It's not quite like it used to be.
