How do I delete a Personal Book project file in Logos Mac? Thanks!
Overwrite the book with a blank document with the same title
or rename the book title to DUMMYxxx where xxx is how many overwritten books you have [000 to 999] and use a docx file with the text "This book is currently not in service" Then when you input a new personal book overwrite one of the old DUMMYxxx books.
If DUMMY upsets you use STORAGE, TEMP, ONHOLD, NOTINUSE, etc
If I remember correctly (I don't have current access to my system), you can:
1. Delete the PBB project (I don't think that is what you are inquiring about)
2. HIDE the compiled book (that is closer to what you are asking)
3. But you can't delete the compiled book.
The suggestions given are the work around (essentially, use the original project (#1) to create a new project (#2))
This one. I've already hidden the book, I just need to delete the PBB project. I can't find the "Delete" button though. I may be overlooking it.
If you mean in the Personal Book Builder there is no delete ... just think about the issues of orphaned notes and reused id's. There is a reason to not have a delete function only ways to hide it.
Has the feature been removed? I thought there was a delete button in the past.
I thought there was a delete button in the past.
right-click on the PB project
It worked now when right-clicking on it. Not sure what happened earlier. Thanks again!
I don't think that the personal book will be deleted. You will see it again in your Library. The anti pain for that is only to hide it. I hope with logos 9 we may see this function.
I did have to hide the book, but my main concern here was deleting the project, so I'm glad I was able to delete it.
Not sure when we'll see the book remove option itself. Would love to see it in a future update.
If you didn't Upload a PB it would be deleted with the 'project'.
