This bug has persisted through several versions of the Logos mobile app. When I tap on a prayer item to mark it as read, I often have to wait 2-5 seconds before it is marked as prayed for. If I tap on another prayer item before the first check mark appears, then everything goes haywire. The two items will toggle back and forth between being checked and unchecked.
