Highlight and anchor showing up in other resources sometimes.
Sometimes my highlights and anchors I applied in the Bible show up in my other resources like commentary or study bible notes. How did I do this because now they are only showing up in my Bible?

If you create a note linked to a Bible passage / verse it will show up in all “versified” resources such as other Bibles and commentaries
If you create a note linked to a word it just shows up in that resource (ignoring for the moment the Corresponding Highlights feature)
So if you want your notes to show up in all those resources, make sure you are linking it to the reference (select that in the left-hand side of the context menu)

Several possible reasons, but the simplest (Occam's razor happening here) is, you are using versified resources and have the visual filters turned on sometimes and then have turned them off.
It may be more complicated than that but that's the first thing I'd check.
Eating a steady diet of government cheese, and living in a van down by the river.

Maybe this will help some. This screenshot is showing how one note is highlighted (ORANGE)in the commentary but the other note is not(GREEN). So where would I change it so that I could see the green note in the commentary?

Are the green and orange notes in the same notebook?
If not, is the notebook containing the green note enabled in the visual filter menu in the commentary?

Graham gave you the correct answer. It depends upon whether you created the note on the Selection or on the Reference. How are you creating your notes? If through the Context Menu, selection translated to top tab on the left side, reference to the second tab on the left side. If by add note on the note tool - the drop down menu labeled new note makes the choice.

No but what we need to see is the anchor section of the two notes ...

Yes, look on the right side under Anchor - it shows a reference and nothing else ... it will appears on all resources containing that reference if the notebook is selected to show. On the left side, note that a specific Bible and specific text is shown ... so it is a reference by selection and will not appear anywhere else.

Ok so I know how I created the note on the left. I did this by just highlighting the text and clicking on the "Add Note" icon that is in the popup menu.
What I don't know is how I created the note on the right, could you help me with remembering how I did this?

The Add a Note in the Notes Tool is a drop down menu which will (I think) default to the last used option if you don't explicitly set it.
Add a Note in the Context Menu depends upon the tab choice on the left - Selection or reference.

It's one of those things that trip many people up. Once you understand you are fine, but until that epiphany it is a struggle.
