Logos indexes way too often

I don't know if this is how Logos is meant to behave, but the whole program indexes basically whenever I'm using it and, apparently, even when I'm not using it. The real problem here is that the program is indexing when I startup my computer and there's no way to disable that. This is already unacceptable from a user standpoint since it's taking up startup resources which I have never authorized it to use. What makes this particularly baffling, though, is that I haven't purchased any more resources for Logos to index, anyway.

My question is how to disable indexing unless it's actually necessary to index resources. If the program really needs to index my resources every single time I boot up my computer, even if I don't use it for months at a time, then there's something wrong with the indexing function.

For reference, I've got Logos 7 (7.19.0.0037), so everything is up to date. I don't have a SSD, as much as I would love to, but that's no reason for Logos to index with confounding regularity. Recently, I turned off "Use Internet" in the program settings, and I'm hoping that will mitigate some of this problem.
