Think community pricing is overrated? George Muller will be Pre-Pubbing at $79.95 and selling for $129.99. Community pricing bidders...15 bucks.
Yep. Fantastic deal!
I'm wishing they'd had sent other stuff to community pricing as well. Stuff that is languishing on pre-pub:
The Thomas Boston collection, the Philip Schaff collection, The Complete Works of Thomas Manton, the Charles Finney Collection, The Life and Works of Horatius Bonar, etc., etc., etc.
Hey Logos! Move some of this stuff to community pricing!
amen! glad i got in on this community pricing deal!
saw that myself. WHAT a deal!!
Yep. I got in on that one too.[:D]

Yep. I got in on that one too.
I also would like more community pricing. I currently have a bid on everything offered through Community Pricing.

You are so very right, it blows march madness out of the water in terms of discounts.
Now … how is Catena Aurea looking? Much as I am absolutely delighted that Mueller has now gone into PrePub (see my earlier posts on this), Catena Aurea is a much more valuable resource and I am certain that it will represent an even better investment in Community Pricing than Mueller.
So, c'mon let's push it hard! [:D]
Alan, if I were you I would start another thread to get it noticed more....
Chuck
Thanks, but I've already run at least three threads on Catena Aurea. eg http://community.logos.com/forums/t/14272.aspx or http://community.logos.com/forums/t/14878.aspx
Adding it here was I was just trying to reach some folks who had bid successfully for Mueller but who haven't, as yet, bid for Catena Aurea.
There are still people who haven't bid for each product on community pricing? [:O] Well, at least the all-clear can be given that the Community Pricing Syndrome is not contagious.
I've got my bid in. The link for those who have not bid yet on Catena Aurea is: http://www.logos.com/communitypricing/details/5216
Since we are talking about Community Pricing here is another bargain. Compendium of Christian Theology, 2nd ed., by William Burt Pope (3 Vols.) is close to getting enough bids to go into production. Currently, it looks like it will go for $10, but that price can be driven lower if more people bid! Wayne Grudem describes the work as "one of the greatest systematic theologies written from a Wesleyan or Arminian perspective."
I am not Wesleyan in my theology. However, there are times when I want to know what the Wesleyan position is on something. $10 is a great price for this set. Of course, I have hopes that we can drive the price down to $8 if enough people bid! You can place your bid at: http://www.logos.com/communitypricing/details/5664.
Fantastic deal... and I've added Catena Aurea and Pope for good measure. Thanks for highlighting these through the forums. I probably wouldn't have stumbled across them otherwise...
