Is there a way to show all Bibles on a verse by line?
Are all Bibles capable of showing verse by line?
Dummy me.... I didn't click on the sideways arrow... shucks....
I see it all now. Thanks!
Here's what I see.... Maybe the UK has a different version?
Not all, unless they fixed it. Week's New Dispensation NT is paragraphed (one of the old-english translation collection). Which completely screws up Text Comparison, and Bible Searches in grid view. Interestingly, Resource Info shows fully indexed, until you try to use the indices.
Yes, this goes back to what JT was describing.
There are NASB editions - the original one is one verse per line (no option to change that), the updated one - https://www.logos.com/product/145179/the-new-american-standard-bible-1995-update - has verses in paragraphs
There are two NASB's—a paragraph edition and the regular one. The paragraph edition is paragraphed and can also do one verse per line. The regular edition only does one verse per line.
one verse per line is off in the NASB and still shows up one verse per line
thanks; i was just wondering about this yesterday. One translation was set up to display that way and I couldn't work out why.
I agree with Graham's "as far as I know."
The NASB in logos has a unique history because the NASB was originally published as a "line by line" resource. Many users complained that they wanted the NASB in paragraph form, which some newer print copies had. FL ended up deciding to go ahead an create paragraphs... but that made the "line by line" users upset because the "one verse per line" feature of Logos wasn't quite what they had previously. In the end, FL reverted the resource back to "line by line" and created a NEW resource which was in paragraph form.
That was a unique situation and one unlikely to be repeated.
Use the Bible text only Visual Filter and specify One verse per line - ensure you select the other settings as required.
As far as I know
