Logos 8 to 9 upgrade for Mac

When I go to upgrade my software, it asks me if I want to replace, stop, or keep both files when I move the new application into the Launch Pad. Should I just select replace? Or do I need to remove the old software before adding new? (This is on Mac Upgrade)

You update it within the app - the Logos 8 app will download the Logos 9 update automatically after you’ve purchased it.

Should I just select replace?

Manual update replaces application bundle (no need for old since cannot be used after new application is launched, which updates support files).
